I'm interested in this, as well. I'm a, "newbie", here at socialgo
- moving over from webs - *shudder*. Really excited to be here, but
I'm hoping to find just a little more ways to customise - both for
member profiles & for groups.
The html widget would be just the thing for profiles, but when I've
tried to add it in the, "Layout Manager", it shows as, "not
rendered", or something like that. ?
As far as groups - is there a way we can add videos and
blogs?
Also, is it possible to add descriptions at all to our
photos?
I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong area. There are so many
Forums for Support, I'm confused as to where to go! lol If I am, in
fact, in the wrong place, please point me in the right direction
& I'll be sure to go there in the future.
Thanks so much!

The html widget is for an admin to put code into. It will not allow
a user to embed content. This is a highly requested feature that
will prolly come down the pipeline.

We need the text box for groups and personal pages. Members can't
use our site to provide their sites with quality links. They really
dont care to have a personal page that don't do anything other than
allow comments that others can advertise on their page and not be
able to advertise themselves.

Oh, also members should be able to put their website address in
right from the sign up page. I can put a "What is your Website"
question but long erls stick out way too far and look tacky and it
don't allow them to put any html so that the link says joe's site
instead of http://joe'ssite.com

Any updates on this?
This is a very useful feature of that "other" network along with
"my page" personalization that my users will miss coming over

Hey All,
Thanks for the feedback. I know you've heard this before, and I'm
sorry to say it again, but this is in the works and should be a
part of your networks soon. I cannot give a date in fairness, but
please be assured this is not a request that has been swept under
rug or forgotten - we realize how important it is to all of you,
and this is something we'd like to see ourselves sooner rather than
later! When I hear more information about this, I will come back to
this thread to update.
Thanks for your time, and your patience is always appreciated and
feedback most welcome.
