Cannot Turn off Zone A

The Layout Manager video shows and example of using an iFrame
which turns off Zone A so the iFrame site fills the whole of the
page.
I have tried to copy exactly what is shown on the video but it
never works. Zone A is always visible and the iFrame website just
squeezes into the remainder of the page.
What am I missing?

Have you tried inserting the height of the iFrame to 1000px?

Yes, I have. Makes no difference. Height is not the problem, it
is width I am trying to achieve.
